Shackleton is a high-impact emotional Team Building experience. Through this experience, team members learn to work together, overcome difficulties, and develop resilience.
Shackleton: participants, divided into crews of 6-10, face outdoor survival challenges inspired by Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Antarctic expedition. The activity includes: historical briefing and crew formation with leader election (30-40 min), progressive challenges in map and compass orienteering, shelter building with limited materials, climbing, resource management, and snowshoe treks (2-4h), structured debriefing on leadership lessons (30-45 min). Leadership rotates during challenges. Total duration: 3-6 hours. Requires outdoor area of at least 2,000 sqm with varied terrain. 4 to 500 participants. Staff with certified guides and comprehensive safety protocol.
Shackleton develops competencies with an engagement profile of Mental 9/10, Physical 8/10, Fun 7/10, and Training 10/10 — the highest training value in our entire portfolio. Key skills developed include: situational leadership (rotating roles teaches that effective leadership adapts to context), resilience and stress management (maintaining clarity under real pressure), strategic decision making (rapid decisions with incomplete information), mutual trust and interdependence (challenges that only work with everyone’s support). The benchmark format for leadership development programs and executive team building. The intensity creates lasting memories and immediately transferable learning.
