Mosaic

The activity starts with an introduction to the mosaic making techniques, including fundamentals on design, laying techniques and use of specific tools. We can provide different materials such as ceramic tiles, glass, coloured stones and other decorative parts. Depending on the size of the group, you can work on one single work of art or create several mosaics based on the team’s preference or objectives.

Creating a mosaic requires careful planning and a good team coordination. Communication and cooperation are essential to decide the design, select materials, divide tasks and reach a final wonderful work of art. This encourages mutual trust, careful listening and management of the team’s resources. More than that, the creation process helps develop problem solving abilities and critical thinking, as in finding the best way to place the tiles to match them in the general picture, arrange the colours and keep a visual balance.
