Lego Building

Each team works together to plan, design and build a unique creation, using the Lego bricks. This activity requires efficient communication, partition of tasks and synergy among teammates. We can choose to assign a different theme each, one main subject or to have a common project, where each team creates one part of a whole picture. Everyone can contribute by sharing ideas and abilities while working together to reach the common objective. During the building process we can add special challenges or rules to add some problem solving ingredients, such as time limits, limited resources or specific objectives. All this takes out everyone’s creativity and encourages the team to find innovative solutions to overcome the obstacles. Once the single creations are done, each team can present their own and share their experience with the others. This moment of sharing allows to appreciate each team’s different point of view and approach to the challenge, encouraging cooperation and learning.
