In the Pasta Building Team Building, you and your colleagues will have the opportunity to invent and build structures using only pasta! During the activity, you will be divided into teams and provided with different types of pasta and colored modeling clay as an adhesive to build solid and original structures.
Pasta Building: a creative engineering challenge where teams design and build structures — towers or bridges — using raw pasta and Play-Doh as the only materials. Born from the World Pasta Building Championship, the activity unfolds in three phases: strategy and design (15-20 min), hands-on construction (45-60 min), and structural testing with awards (15-20 min). Teams must balance height or span against structural strength, with our current record standing at a 96 cm tower supporting an egg. Duration: 2-3 hours. Requires one work table per team. All materials provided by our staff.
Pasta Building has a medium training level, blending creative entertainment with genuine project management dynamics. Key competencies developed include: project planning (allocating limited time between design and construction), resource optimization (creative use of identical, limited materials), iterative problem-solving (adapting quickly when structures collapse), role distribution and leadership (natural specialization within teams), and communication under pressure (clear coordination as time runs down). The material constraints make it a great equalizer — seniority is irrelevant when everyone works with pasta and Play-Doh.
