Are you ready to take flight… with the power of imagination? Flying Objects is a unique, creative and surprisingly engaging activity, where each team transforms into a real squad of “flight engineers”, committed to designing and launching their own customized flying object.
A workshop of ideas, collaboration and friendly challenge, perfect for teams that want to strengthen cohesion while having fun… and flying high!
Flying Objects: teams become flight engineering crews, designing and building flying objects with recycled materials and creativity. The activity unfolds in 4 phases: briefing with role assignment — Designer, Builder, Tester, Strategist — (10-15 min), design and construction (30-45 min), testing and optimization (10-15 min), and final launch competition (15-20 min). Rankings for distance, precision, and aesthetics. Duration: 1-2 hours. Indoor or outdoor, at least 1 sqm/person. One work table per team. Identical material kits included. Setup: 30-60 minutes.
Flying Objects has a medium training level, balancing fun and experiential learning. Key dynamics stimulated: creativity and innovation (transforming common materials into functioning objects), project management (phased structure replicating corporate projects), roles and leadership (Designer, Builder, Tester, Strategist), problem solving under pressure (progressive constraints and limited time), and agile methodology (rapid test-feedback-improvement cycle). Particularly suited for technical teams, R&D, and innovation groups.
Are technical skills required to participate in Flying Objects?
Absolutely not. The activity is accessible to everyone regardless of background. The best teams are those that collaborate best — organizing roles, listening to everyone's ideas, and adapting to constraints.
Can Flying Objects be done indoors?
Yes, the format works both indoors and outdoors. In a meeting room, the launch area is set up in a dedicated zone. Our staff adapts competition rules to the available venue.
What does the Flying Objects material kit include?
Each team receives an identical kit with recycled materials — paper, cardboard, tape, rubber bands, straws, sticks, balloons. Staff also provide measurement tools and project sheets.
