This Team Building is a unique opportunity for your team to unite, collaborate, and make a difference in the lives of animals in need. During this activity, you’ll work together to design, build, and donate safe and comfortable houses for animals at a local shelter or animal protection and welfare association.
Participants, divided into teams of 4-8, build animal shelters using pre-cut wood, hammers, nails, and non-toxic paint. Each team has a fully equipped workstation. The activity progresses through construction (structure assembly), decoration (painting and customization), and final presentation with awards. Duration: 1-3 hours. Works both indoors (with floor protection) and outdoors. Setup: 30-60 minutes. All shelters are donated to local animal rescue organizations.
Animal House develops skills with scores Mental 9/10, Physical 4/10, Fun 8/10, Training 7/10. Core areas: hands-on collaboration (building a real object requires concrete coordination), planning and project management (organizing time, roles, and resources), manual problem-solving (adapting to real tools and physical materials), empathy and social responsibility (donation to shelters adds purpose), applied creativity (free decoration phase). Particularly suited for CSR programs, teams that need to strengthen belonging, and groups that benefit from activities with tangible, lasting impact.
